Grandmaster HakSun An
Founder of the Korean Tigers Demo Team
You would be hard pressed to find anyone within the taekwondo community who hasn't heard of Grandmaster HakSun An. After a lifetime or martial arts training and instruction, Grandmaster HakSun An established the Korean Tigers Taekwondo Demonstration Team in 1990 and it has gone on to become the most representative Taekwondo Demonstration Team in the world.

Head Instructor Master Kim
5th dan black belt with World Taekwondo Federation
4th dan black belt with International Hapkido Federation
Master Kim began his martial arts training at the age of 7, training under his internationally acclaimed uncle, Hak Sun An, founder of Korean Tigers Demonstration Team located in South Korea.
He’s served as both director and member to the KTigers Demonstration Team. Having had the privilege of teaching and training in both Korea and other various locations within the U.S. has allowed him to merge divergent schools of thought, greatly expanding his knowledge of up to date techniques and methods. In addition to his lifelong study of Taekwondo, Master Kim holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering.
Master Kim considers his school to be a place of learning, and his style of teaching emphasizes the traditional values of discipline, practice, hard work and focus. His goal is to help students of all ages and from all walks of life to reach his or her full potential and therefore expects his students to learn and practice with diligence and sincerity.

Assistant Instructor
Ms. Juliana LaVe'
2rd dan black belt with World Taekwondo Federation
With over 10 years of training and teaching experience under her belt, Ms. Juliana LaVe' holds the rank of a 3rd degree black belt with the World Taekwondo Federation and is actively training to earn her fourth-degree black belt.
Ms. Juliana would like to help others not only understand the physicality of Taekwondo but also help them to really appreciate the numerous life lessons it has to offer. She tries to teach by example that if you're willing to work hard and put the effort in, you're capable of achieving any goal that you set your mind to
Currently, she is studying to become certified as an Elementary School Teacher. The role of teaching assistant has really allowed her to meld her two passions - teaching and taekwondo. Ms. Juliana hopes to continue making Taekwondo and teaching her lifelong pursuit by one day running her own taekwondo dojang.

Ms. Heather Hoeck Mills
Ms. Heather joined KTigers Taekwondo in 2011 after having finished her master's degree at the University of Idaho and returning to the Coeur d' Alene area. She's currently an instructor of Physics at Gonzaga University, and in her downtime, Ms. Heather takes great pleasure in incorporating her passion for teaching with her passion for Taekwondo.
Ms. Heather feels that there is nothing more rewarding than helping students of all experience levels and ages integrating a greater proficiency for their physical techniques with a deeper understanding of the valuable life skills that can be gained and honed through taekwondo. As she always says, "Practicing Taekwondo takes dedication, but that dedication will pay off in inner strength and outer strength."
